So, some how my shopping list got E-mailed as a blog post. I'm going to
do the classy thing and blame it on a virus, or user error. I'll let you
pick. Anyway, I tried to remove it but not exactly sure why it's not
letting me.
Shall we talk about what's going on? Here's the deal folks it seems
another webpage has a very similar web address. While I usually wouldn't
mind it's a bit too close to this one. So, I'm in the process of
switching the web address and hosting company. I keep saying I'm doing
it but I'm searching for one that has what I need at low costs.
Well, keep it real and if you wish to donate it's easy via papal. Just
click the button on bats's home page.
Thanks
Zack

Update time.
Hello!
I'm still here and in fact I have some awesome stuff to update you guys
on. However this isn't the time to do it. I'm not putting all my eggs in
1 basket at the moment. I new I could slip in an Easter joke.
Right so what can I tell you your probably asking? I've been
getting E-mails with resources and am keeping track of who sends what. I
do need to ask you guys a favor however. If you send in a resource or
advice or whatever it may be please give me a good summary of what it is.
Don't say here's a resource on guide dogs and paste a link.
So keep that in mind and keep them coming in.
The blog is where all the up to date news and instant stuff is
posted. And I'll try to do better at blogging them. The site is mainly
for long lasting resources, links, tips, etc.
So sound off and let me know what's going on in your part of the
world. Have a great Easter and remember chocolate rabbits are for
eating. Don't feel bad when you take that first ear splitting bite.

One big kiss for Children's Hospital.
Hello!
In Seattle Washington an amazing place exists. It's the most epic
place of science miracles and fun. It has a special place in my heart
and for many other families as well. Children's Hospital is a hospital
built around the foundation of treatment for kids from birth to the age
of 21.
On February 29th and March 1st a Seattle radio morning show is
taking on the goal of raising 1 million dollars in 2 days. The Jackie
and Bender morning show has taken this challenge on for the last 9 years
and have always came close if not blowing the goal out of the water. I
figured I lend a helping hand by spreading this around to as many places
as I can. Childrens treats a wide range of medical alements and never
says no. A child will always receive medical treatment even if the
money isn't available to pay. But with this radiothon that Jackie and
Bender are doing it helps families sleep better at night and provides a
great child some well earned comfort and relief.
Childrens isn't a hospital it's a well built community and everyone
is your family. The nurses and doctors are willing to sit down and make
your child feel at home and answer any questions the parents might have.
Clowns will appear and entertain or sometimes even famous people drop by
to say hello. How do I know all this? It's easy Childrens was my home
away from home for a big portion of my life.
You can donate it's very simple. An online auction will take place
and you can bid with your money going to the hospital. You can send a
text message and have 10 dollars donated, the 10 dollars is added to
your bill.
You can call during the radiothon and be on the phone for 2 minutes and
a volunteer will take down your info and you can donate a dollar, 5, 10,
20, 100, 1000 any amount is worth it.
Speaking of the radiothon phone bank if your in the Seattle area feel
free to drop by Childrens and work the phones.
More info will be posted as soon as I know all the details.
Feel free to tune in to the broadcast at
http://www.kissfmseattle.com/main.html
once your on the site just click listen live and you'll stream the
broadcast in your internet browser.
Let's spread this far and wide and get people involved. If each person
donated a dollar it would be amazing. Retweet the links, post on face
book and send smoke signals if you want! Help a child because after all
you never know when you or your child might need the same kind of help.

Happy Holidays!
It's BlindAccessTS first Christmas. So lets celebrate and have fun. Find
1 thing this season and hang on to it. Life throws you hard balls catch
them and run with it. Love everything you can. I wish you all a very
happy holidays. My Goal for next year is to bring an on board staff who
can help me keep the site up dated. Some new content is on the way and
I'm going to try a different lay out and you'll get a chance to vote on
your favorite.
Again happy holidays!

Getting the site out and known. Make it the one stop shopping for resources.
Hey viewers!
I'm ready for the site to really go main stream. It's my goal to bring
the site into the blind community full force. I'm hoping that by having
a great pack of viewers and contributors we can achieve this goal. So
here's a few things I'm going to put into place so everyone can help
out. Each month I'm going to post across twitter and the blog and the
main site topics for submissions. So 1 month will be anything medical,
and I mean anything. Next month might be online shopping sites that are
accessible. No stone will go unturned and together we'll make a site
that can help others in complete dignity and comfort. Life is stressful
as is, why throw blindness on top of that, if blindaccessts can help
take a bit of stress off that is the goal.
I send a great and warm thank you out too the ones who've helped out so
far. I may not be able to return E-mails all the time but I really do
try to keep an on going line of communication with you guys.
So again thanks and lets bring BlindAccessTS from the stone age into the
internet realm of great possibility.

A new resource that I found useful last night.
Hey guys I'm excited to tell you about this new resource.
I was in the hospital last night and wanted to order in some food. Now I
lived in Seattle before but had no idea what was around to order and who
would deliver. After calling a couple places one of the people suggested
I check out Eat 24 Hour.com. It's a service that shows you what delivers
near you.
It's a pretty easy interface you type your address all on 1 line and
then go down to a different box and type what you'd like to eat. see example

and here you'd type the food choice so Pizza or Chinese or whatever
category you are craving.
Hit search and in seconds you have a list of food shops that deliver.
You can click on any that look good and it has online menus and you can
even order online from the website. The important thing is it has online
menus no more asking what they have and not getting exactly what you want.
The URL is:

Thanks
Zack
Note I'll add the link to the site asap
